- SEARCH FOR HOMES - The fun part! Your agent will schedule showings and help you find the perfect home.
- MAKE AN OFFER - Your agent will prepare your best offer based on the price and terms you choose, as well as market conditions.
- RATIFIED CONTRACT - Both buyer and seller have agreed to terms of sale and contract is all signed. Earnest money deposit is due and timelines begin. The contract provides you with timelines to obtain financing, as well as time to inspect the physical condition of the home. Your agent will keep you informed about deadlines and your rights and responsibilities within those deadlines.
- UNDER CONTRACT - Your agent will help schedule, attend and negotiate various inspections. They will also satisfy any necessary offer conditions and make sure all parties involved have the required documentation.
- FINAL DETAILS - You and your agent will complete a final walkthrough of the home. Make sure you transfer the utilities into your name. You will be finalizing your loan and reviewing documents with your lender. This will tell you how much money you need to bring to settlement.
- CLOSING - You will sign all the required paperwork, transfer the necessary funds and get your keys! Congratulations!
